Wey Hall Quilt
A farewell letter to the building where I learned how to design, sew, quilt, knit, screenprint, and so much more. An experiment in both mapping a location, and in screen printing on top of pieced fabric. This quilt is my final project completed during my BFA in graphic design, and it carries with it a montage of memories from my four years spent in Wey Hall at Appalachian State.
In 2025, with Wey Hall currently being renovated, this piece is not just a farewell to my college experience, but also to the Wey Hall ASU once had—the old, odd building with a scary elevator and decades worth of memories left behind by previous artists and designers.
