March to the Polls

March to the Polls (MTTP) is a 501c non-profit based in Dallas TX. Founded in 2015, MTTP seeks to increase electoral participation among historically underrepresented communities, particularly youth and people of color.

The Goal: A full brand refresh. Keep the spirit behind the original MTTP logo, but give it some much needed polish, symbolic depth, and visual consistency. Pick new typefaces and colors. Generate matching logos for the SVEC (Student Voter Empowerment Clubs) and LVEC (Latino Voter Empowerment Coalition) sub-brands.

The Solution: A cleaned up and modernized logo and visual brand. The addition of the arrow denotes forward movement and working towards better things. A sturdy font with a low X height comes across as strong and self-assured—this is a knowledgeable, empowered organization striving to promote justice, equity, and equal opportunities for all voters, both today and in the future.
